Thinking XXX

Just watching Thinking XXX- a documentary about a book about pornstar portraits. I saw the book a few months ago in Barnes & Noble on a Saturday afternoon...Just sitting on a low shelf, begging to be read. I flipped through it while sitting, by chance, near the children's section (I'm not a perv- I didn't notice it was nearby when I sat down). The photographs by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders are amazing (I say that as an art geek and a porno-loving freak). The dressed/undressed pairing of photos was neat- like a 'before' and 'after' picture of someone's makeover. The book was full of essays and factoids. I was fascinated to learn that Michael Lucas has a law degree, in addition to a handsome endowment. The film was equally arousing to my mind, as the stars spoke about their motivations for going into the Business and what they've gotten out of it.

Not sure why I didn't blog about it back then... Also not sure why I didn't buy it.
